Biography
I would like to thank the Lord for the "Gift" of music. Where it all started--I remember A player piano in the 1st home that I lived in. My parents and older sibilings listened to a vast array of musical styles...so my musical influences are many.I started playing drums at the age of 5. Moved on to guitar at the age of 8. I started playing a Hammond organ at age 10. I fell in love with the instrument and have been playing Keyboards ever since. I played at church from time to time and sang in the youth group. I've had the pleasure of working with some great musicians and artists, many of whom have become awesome friends! I have played in groups and recorded with members of--James Brown, The Funkadelics, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Robert Palmer, Steve Boone (Lovin' Spoonful), Will McFarlane (Muscle Shoals And Bonnie Raitt), Jeff Cook (Alabama), and Willie Nelson...I have played keyboards for--The John Belushi Estate And Dan Akroyd Sanctioned Blues Brothers Review, Percy Sledge, William Bell, Archie Bell, Ronnie Dove, Troy Shondell (Tommy James & the Shondells), Alive and Kicking (you know-Hold On Just A Little Bit Tighter Now Baby), Brian Johnson (lead singer for AC/DC), Diedre Farr, And Nantucket...I've performed music for Alan Alda's movie Betsy's Wedding as well as having a musical part in the movie...I also had the pleasure of working with Andy Griffith on Matlock in a musicians role on the show...I played keys on a project for friend Lenny Loftin (actor and songwriter) funded by Mega actor Russell Crowe which was produced by David Willkins...The last big media session that I've participated in is playing piano for an episode of One Tree Hill.
